It is a Door withÂ lever tumbler lockÂ for unlocking a door during emergency conditions. The mechanism consists of a spring-loaded metal bar fixed horizontally to the inside of an outward-opening door. When the lever is either pushed or D-pressed, it activates a mechanism which unlatches the door allowing occupants to move quickly from that building.

It is a Horizontal metal bar fixed to the inside area of a door. It is a push bar mechanism which can be pushed easily in order to open the Door and move out safely especially at the time of an emergency.Â
Â EXTERNAL TRIM, LOCK TO ACCESS PANIC BAR FROM OUTSIDE.
External Trim is a locks installed on outer side of a door in order to access the panic bar and make the Door operational from outside.
It can be a lockÂ with lever handle or a knob to operate the panic bar mechanism easily. This lock is effective when their is an equal or adequate use of Door from both the openings & the Door is required to be both side functional.
External Trim can be operational only with the helpÂ of key from the other side of the Door where panic bar is installed & if not required can be kept close.
